A name with instructions included
“Open” describes the code and the intent. “Multi” removes ambiguity. “Term” tells you which neighborhood the project lives in. Together they explain the product before the coffee gets cold.
The rename also happened as we prepared the repository for public release. We reviewed configuration, removed internal files, and left a base anyone could clone without finding our digital skeletons in the closet.
Logo, icon, and the grand asset tour
Updating the title was easy. Then came the taskbar, dock, installer, README, and packages. Every operating system has a deeply personal opinion about how many icon sizes a single app should provide.
The lesson: a brand is not only the handsome logo. It is also making sure that handsome logo does not become a blurry 16-pixel square when you need it most.
